Despite spending N1.5trillion on the country’s power sector in the last two years, the Federal Government yesterday said it is in the process of investing a fresh $3 billion (N915bn) World Bank loan into the sector. The Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Mrs Zainab Ahmed, disclosed this during an interview with journalists on the sidelines of the World Bank/International Monetary Fund (IMF) meetings holding in Washington DC, United States.
